Look'n'Stop

I am on a wireless home network and am in need of a software firewall to prevent any hacking attempts, etc. I have downloaded a firewall called Look'n'Stop that seems to be doing a fairly good job... but I wanted to ask if any of you believe Look'n'Stop is worth ordering, or if there are any other firewalls out there you would suggest.

And as a side note, Windows Firewall is not an option for me as it keeps turning itself on every startup. I have tried a million times fixing this, but no luck. So instead of just turning it on everytime I startup the computer (which I always forget to do anyway), I would like to just have another firewall running instead. Thanks!

my machine runs two: nvidia ActiveArmour, which is fairly nice and Windows Firewall... ActiveArmour is quite a bit more alertive about things, which is nice, but it's not as annoying as Norton's or ZoneAlert (or whatever the name is) neither of which I ever cared for.

The control console for nvidia's in run through Apache :)

Maybe it's just because I'm not a windows user or just because I'm absent minded :P But I've never heard of Look'n'Stop. I used to use Norton Personal Firewall which seemed to be doing a good job but it's not so easy to tell in windows... the only thing I was going on was the little alerts it popped up when people did try getting in ;)

if you are on a wireless network and have a wireless router, the wireless router should have a built in 'hardware' firewall that you can control.
