I am thoroughly enjoying the BBCs web streaming as well. I got to see the half pipe contest live on Monday instead of having to watch the highlights when I got home from work.
The only problem was I kept visibly wincing everytime one of the competitors wiped out spectacularly, which kind of gave away that I was watching when I should have been coding...
No one has complained that I've been hogging the bandwidth so far, but I've turned off my wireless card and hooked up a cable to the router just so the video doesn't have to buffer so much and no one seems to have noticed.

I wish more North American stations did that. Even for a fee I bet it'd sell.
Many radio stations offer subscribers a commerical-free podcast for the show, so I can't wait until TV does something similar.
I like what CNN, ESPN, & MSN have going on. I watch news there all the time now (yeah, even though it doesn't work in Firefox and even though it's not full shows).
