Ultimate Geek Office

Post by Todd_Z »

My lifelong dream has come true [ok, im 17] but anyways:

The tech department at my company has been given there own office. We need ideas for how to make it a geekpad.

So far we have the essential poster in mind: war games.

Ideas are welcome

Physical age range? Mental age range? Counter-culture or hidden-hacker?

That's quite an interesting combination you've got there.

Just make decorations out of old hardware (rip you old hard disks apart and stuff).

EDIT | If you're vain geeks, hard drive platters make brilliant mirrors too :P

A true geek has his custom PC. Case modding is a must: http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=case+modding and http://www.thinkgeek.com/pcmods/cases/

hehe, definantly would be pretty crazy..

I would probably just get whitebackground with a "lighter" grey for the numbers.. just to keep it easy on the eyes..
In that case I think it would be a great idea.. for a `geek`.

Lots of digital boobies would probably do the trick.

How about a matrix style work area? 9 monitors on flexible support cables.

Make a picture out of binary. Different font shades for textures and such.
