Looking for a Reliable IP DB Provider

Post by bsullivan »

Hello Everyone,

My company is looking to use geo-location to offer localized content to our European and Asian users. I would like to find a reliable vendor for an IP lookup list that offers a fair amount of accuracy and was wondering if anyone on the form could make a recomendation.

Thank you in advance!

Unfortunatly, Whois is not really fast enough or accurate enought for us. We are trying to achieve an accuracy rate of 93-100% accuracy while serving 200,000 unique users a day.

I think we have opted for MaxMind for the time being. Anyone intrested can have a look at there site:

http://www.maxmind.com/app/country

There are not a lot of options out there, so it will be intresting to see if this product meets our needs or not.

Thanks to everyone for there help.
