Hi I have a website
http://www.ashfordlocal.co.uk
I can view the website and download emails from work (bt openworld)
My hosting provider says it is working fine and he can view it.
but from home (wanadoo broadband) it does not show.
I can view other websites fine.
I thought that it might be maintenence on one of the routers at wanadoo but it has been down for about 2 days now.
What do you think it is?

Might be an outdated dns server. Try your server ip from home and check your dns settings.

I have tried the IP
70.86.182.130
Still no joy.
Tried speaking to the ****** people from wanadoo. Their advice
Me: Politely explain problem above
Wanadoo: "go to sitebuilder.wanadoo.co.uk and you will find information about creating websites"
Me: "my site is not hosted with you it is a connection issue"
Wanadoo: "we do not provide support for other websites"
Me: " I do not want support for my website I want to know why I can connect to it from every other ISP apart from wanadoo"
Wandoo: "go to sitebuilder.wanadoo.co.uk and you will find information about creating websites"
Me: Hang up phone cursing wanadoo

Try disabling (very temporarily!) your firewall. Maybe its one of those notorious Norton issues???

Yes it sounds like a firewall issue or a routing issue at your ISP's end. Is it a shared server or a dedicated one (i.e. should that IP open your website or does it point to a shared host?).
Sounds like wannadoo's support is pretty poor. I'm changing ISP's soon when I move house... I'll bear that in mind
