It depends on what you like and don't like. Personally, I really enjoy WoW. Its a blast, a ton of fun, and a whole lot of excitement.

However, I have a good friend at work that doesn't feel the same at all, despite our similar views on other games.

Trial accounts for WoW are available, and they give you a pretty good gauge on how enjoyable the game is.

Currently the only game I'm interested in is The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Released 21st and it can't come too soon ;).

Generally I like FPS and RPGs. Though for a while now the FPS genre quality has been heading downhill in a bucket. Outside a few genuine gems the rest aren't worth talking about, hell some are barely playable. I still boot up Duke Nukem 3D to remind myself FPSs can be fun. :) Half Life and Deus Ex have yet to be beaten in my book or gotten close to.

Other games of note:

Civilisation 4
F.E.A.R. (coolest graphic effects ever)
Elder Scrolls: Morrowind

Nothing else really stands out as something I'd replay a few times.

Dead Or Alive 4 ('Grimdotdotdot')
Worms 2 :D

Man, you wouldn't be able to sell that line at my work. I'm the cut-up, anti-serious one. Oh well.

Guess I need to do more movie quotes. :P

I don't game. I don't get it  I'll try playing a game for like ten minutes and then that's it I'm bored and I never want to play it again.

I used to enjoy gaming back in the Sega days when I could play games focused more on gameplay than graphics.. (old commodore 64 Games like Flimbo's quest, or Sonic on the megadrive) The worst part is I spend time writing code or playing around with *nix when other people would be playing games... I guess we all just like what we like :)
