[56K WARN] Eclipse plugin recommendations?

Post by Ree »

I'm beginning to enjoy Eclipse more and more. So far I only have TruStudio plugin installed, and I thought it would be nice to have the complete suite of plugins for all my editing needs. I'd like to also have editors for:

Javascript
CSS
(X)HTML
XML

Anyone of you could recommend some good ones?

hes using trustudio so PHPEclipse isnt needed

i think the phpeclipse has an extra WebDevs plugin that you could use

i also use Subclipse (SVN integration)

Very interesting post. Maybe you could use an editor such as, say Quanta?

Actually I have missed the fact that on eclipse site they have web tools (WTP) project which has pretty much everything I wanted to have except that for Javascript I decided to use JSEclipse. Overall I guess my eclipse is pretty much fully loaded now. ;)

PS. I have been playing around with eclipse and the plugins the whole day today and haven't had even a single crash/error. That's pretty good for my ancient PIII 450MHz/320 SDRAM on XP Pro SP2. :)

There is a simpletest plugin for eclipse (phpeclipse and trustudio compatible)... I remember that i submitted a couple of patches to the author of that plugin... And remember that there was room for a lot of improvements... but haven't found the time anymore to check the project last couple of months...

Notice the nice green line at the bottom :)
