I'm just wondering why I can't access the devnetwork forums from my box but I can through a proxy.

Does it say you're banned? If it doesn't, then it's not the forums.

Looks like there is a network issue somewhere then.

Is your box blocking the address somehow? Maybe check any privacy or restrictions set up across internet access if you use something like Norton or McAffee...

No, it's not my box. I'm not using Windows btw. I am still having this issue and it's been about 4 or 5 hours now. HUB down? This is weird.

Is Windows part of your network?
In that case seems odd - all other websites working as usual? Any other xceptions?

LOL No, There are a few Windows boxes on the lan but we all go through a switch so that wouldn't have any effect on it. And No I am not having this problem with any other web sites.

I'm gonna stab a guess and say that your browser just hangs at the "Connecting" stage?
I have a feeling I know what' causing it and it's affected me before too.... If it's what I'm thinking then turning off JavaScript will make it work again... let me know if this is the case since it will need a closer look at our end

It's working again now. Not sure what the problem was, however I doubt it was Javascript related because the only thing I changed was the proxy. Same browser with Javascript enabled. It would just give me a connection timed out error.
