 If it only worked that way for me :)

it's not a date...I've known this girl for a while and were friends and all...

I mean she's smoking hot and I'd totally smurf her :)

But yea I expect to get nothing out of it from her or anything...she's just company and really into slayer :? which I found weird for a hot chick...but hey what the hell right?

Maybe after a few dozen beers I'll start looking like Brad Pitt to her 8)

You do realize there are many minors on these boards, and I'm sure they don't appreciate this kinda chit chat.

Whaaa.... 8O

Smurf is all in the interpretation...

Could be I would totally marry her...??? :)

Which, if you must know...I would...if....she'd marry me that is :P

Although I can't agree with the get em drunk theory :P I don't see that as degrading women? Perhaps kind of sleazy...but not degrading.

Todd_Z...She's a good friend of mine...I've been drunk with her on numerous occasions...there is a great deal of trust between her and I...why else would hot stuff hang out with me - cuz i'm a nice guy!!! :P

I don't care if it was a joke or not.. its not appropriate.

And smurf is implying a swear word -- and we all know what you were thinking.

Reguardless.. this does not belong on a programming forum.

Sorry to be the hardball.. but this is crossing the line.

I understand your humor dude...your not alone...but as JCart has said, there is likely others that might not... 8O

So in comes the question of free speech... :P

Do we tame it down out of respect for others or do we turn it up and make more noise?

Typically I would turn it up...just cuz I can... 8)

Actually that depends on how and who asks me to tone it down...if done politely I have no problems...if demanded...or rudely requested....things get ugly...

I try and keep everything failry civil while on these boards...just cause...the lack of tone plays a big part in people chewing you out over a joke.

So i'm chilled dude...i'm chilled 8)

ANd I smile alot :)

I know what your saying, we all like to have a good time, but its not fair to the user that is offended by the content whomever is posting. Everyone has equal rights, and follows the same rules -- and it is our rules to not to poke (potentially offensive) jokes.

My concern here, is that the statements made in my opinion were highly offensive. I know your joking, but that doesn't make it right.

I'm sorry but that is not demanding. When you wanted to get technical with your last post, I justified why I asked him kindly to not degrade women...

The bottom line is those kinds of statements won't float around here reguardless of context. If thats a problem then it is something you'll have to deal with. So in the future could you please not make those kinds of posts. Think of the children ;)
