gAIM is my favorite. Trillian does not keep your changes when you switch computers or such so when I use MSN on it at home and move someone to a new group if I go to school and sign on just MSN Messanger then everyone is in the default group, no organization at all. gAIM seams to solve this problem for me.

I use gaim (on *nix), as do most other people I know personally.

(From dictionary.com):

Sexy: Highly appealing or interesting; attractive.

I use that term for really attractive technical solutions all the time. Its fun, its unexpected, and it captures how much I appreciate it without resorting to profanity.
