Wireless Cable

Post by shiznatix »

Ok so I was not able to find anything online but...

I am moving in a week and my best friend has the apartment right above me. We figure that we can share internet with a nice wireless router but we also want to share the cable because sharing these things will save us lots and lots of money every month. So here is my question:

Is there a way to take a cable TV line and turn it into a wireless signal then convert it back to a regular wired cable just like a wireless network?

If not are there any genius ideas as to sharing the cable between the 2 apartments? I really don't watch enough TV to pay that money every month but I would like to have it for those times where I do watch TV. Also, I am trying to avoid the 'only in USA buy online' stuff because I have to pay MAD taxes on every package I get from a company outside Estonia.
