My cat died on Easter at 4:20 AM
I was up all night with it.
RIP Oliver:

Other than that easter was fairly good. I am not a big fan of chocolate or other sweets, but the honey-glazed pineapple ham was EXCELLENT.

My cat looks dead all the time. One of these days I'll evict it for a few days...maybe that'll teach her a valuable lesson about the disadvantages of being a thoroughly useless lazy creature
.
Sorry to hear about it... I've sat up a few times in the past.
Having grown up on a farm I get to adopt from the official cat clan of the farmyard which stubbornly refuses to submit to taming except at Christmas when bribery (left-overs) does the trick. We gave up keeping fowl long ago - too many...incidents. The current live-in has been named Tripod, in memory of its youthful stupidity which left it bereft of a hind leg (not that that slows it down in any way).
Last cat passed away over a year ago - never a great time I know

Am I the only one that doesn't like sweets? My family thinks I am quite odd.

I don't personally like most of the sweets created by Hersey's and others during certain holidays. Easter is one of the worst behind Halloween. All the candy tastes like chemicals to me.scottayy wrote:Am I the only one that doesn't like sweets? My family thinks I am quite odd.
I'm always disappointed by most of the chocolate I encounter throughout the US in my moving travels. Disregarding homemade chocolates, which are so damn hard to beat, so far Ghirardelli is my favorite. I have heard of a chocolate company in Michigan that's supposed to be great, but who knows.. Frank-something.. Anyways, yeah.. I can agree with not liking sweets too much. Although it's hard to pass up anything actually homemade.
