It got to 25 degrees here in Leeds, England the other day (dunno what that is in farenheit). Very high for May, we usually only see that a couple of times in the year.
I hate it when it's that hot, not only does the pollen start coming out and ruining my eyes, but every time I get in the car I sweat like mad.

115 F = 46 C
100 F = 38 C
90 F = 32 C
77 F = 25 C
Thats not that hot.
In fact, thats a fairly comfortable day in Florida.

Same for us in California.
By the way, I don't feel so alone anymore...

I'm eating chili.
Oddly, that doesn't seem all that off-topic in this thread.

25 is a nice temp for me too...
Especially after a blistering cold winter...like the one we had a few years back
Hot for me...is like...40C maybe even 45...with a humidaty of like 99%
Many people here dont' have Air Con. myself included as were waaaaay below freezing for most of the year...but summers are savage...and those odd days we get heat waves coming from Texas...oh man...look out...
Everything sticks to you...and thats when the notorious Manitoban Mosquitoes come out...their as big as birds
Carry away small children dude...seriously

We don't have Mosquitos in our area of the world. We do however have biting midges. You want to be driven insane? Then walk outside on a warm summer evening near any wooded area...

You gotta admit, though... biting midgets... if you saw biting midgets you would have been on the floor laughing...

Alright, kind of funny in a disturbing way.

Again from Real Genius..
Chris Knight wrote:I am only saying this because I care - there's a lot of decaffeinated brands on the market that are just as tasty as the real thing.
And I must say, I've never encountered biting midges. Mosquitos both huge and tiny, horse flies (evil creatures that can actually leave gaping wounds), and even gnats and "love bugs" in swarms so thick you can't see through them.
But never biting midges. Any links to info about a new insect foe for me to fear?
And taking the topic further off-topic, why have there been so few aliens-that-are-insects movies? Insects to me always trigger a basic revulsion.. would think its a natural fit.

that's hot for us poor english people. i reckon that probably 99.9% of the population was walking around with sun-burn after a day like that (I know i am at the moment

) we're just not built for weather like that!
