15 minutes remaining (in the game...).
How does a keeper get red carded?

That just struck me as remarkably funny... A team that plays an ice-based game named the Suns. I can see the headlines now...

Suns, Heat finish hockey championship with a water polo match

You can read "suns" upside down and it still says "suns"!!!!

Also, stupid ref, Arsenal would've won it with 11 men and both the teams would've preferred the goal to the red card anyway.

Everah, you should rename the thread to "The ultimate off-topic thread", allowing *EVERYTHING* in it to be both completely off-topic, and by doing so, be on-topic.

lol? How can 102 degrees feel like 97? Surely if it felt like that it would be 97...

It's like saying a hot cup of water feels cold, well then it's cold lol.

it must be the partly cloudy bit, because there are clouds in the sky, it gives you the impression that it's really not 102. Don't let the fact that if you stand in your driveway for more than 5 minutes, you'll spontaneously combust fool you, those clouds make a big difference 8O

speaking of which, I gotta pick up my kids from school before they catch fire...bbib

Renamed, yet again! 8O

I also included a title history. I figure we can have as much fun as we can until Feyd or one of the other Moddies puts a stop to it. :D

No, its a bit different. If you doubt it, travel to Florida sometime. You'll quickly discover that when the humidity outside is over 95%, you can't effectively cool your body at all - meaning all you do is sweat, and it does no good. That makes it feel MUCH hotter than it is.

I've been in low-humidity, high-heat areas (Egypt, Saudi Arabia), and I would gladly choose them over high-humidity, lower (but high) heat areas like south Florida. The difference is astounding. It really can't be explained without experiencing it.

With a decent breeze, and low humidity, 102 can feel like a lot less than 97.. it can even feel nearly comfortable.

I'm just wondering if we can all come up with enough jibberish to fill up, say, 10 pages of thread?

It just seems so difficult to stay on topic when the topic is getting off-topic. Hmm, what would master yoda do at a time like this...

as long as everyone stays on topic 8O and doesn't violate any other forum rules, we won't put a stop to it.

....wait, the first part of that.... nvm.

Curling? :)

Arsenal is a soccer team (England), played Barcelona in the european Champions League final. Keeper got red carded for fouling a Barca player about to score (a few seconds slower on the whistle by the ref and...). Then Barcelona went and missed the penalty...hahaha. Arsenal lost in the end. 2-1. Not a happy ending.

Maybe Arsenal will take up curling next season...

If the force was something that we had on earth, what are some of the things you would do with it? I was just thinking how much I would love to be able to get a cup of coffee without actually getting up to get it. Or using a jedi mind trick to make my boss give everyone in our unit a perfect evaluation. Of course, that would make me a lazy force-using waste of force-having man flesh. But imagine the fun it could be at parties :D .
