I just tried the following type questions with no luck :(

1) What is the temperture in Winnipeg (also; CYWG)
2) What is the distance from Winnipeg to Dallas

Although I did search:

Population of Dallas and did get an answer, but no such luck with my own city :(

I was surprised Dallas only had 1.3 Million...which is about what my province sits at...but Winnipeg makes up 700,000 of that...and Winnipeg is small compared to Dallas...

I'm not sure if thats just Dallas downtown core...

In anycase...Google is damn neat sometimes...and excellent way to win in arguments...or be proven totally wrong :)

Cheers :)

the one about the answer to life is hilarious (need to have read the book for it to be funny). With google I always search by asking a question like "why does my sound not work in qt for my sony camcorder" and I usually get the best results this way.

Or:

(320th of a mile is a rod, if you were wondering. Google calculator has neglected that unit)

Actually, Google hasn't neglected the rod.

8 rods is a chain! Although Google hasn't included that :(
