I quit school at 16 (after GCSE's)

I've got an inability to put down my ideas on paper thus school was frustrating if anything.

I do wish I had gone to Uni.. but I spent so much time at my mates uni I think I only missed out on the bad bits which is the study

Congrats on your acceptance chaps :)

I went to Uni. I got a 1st (Hons) in Broadcast Technology. Which was quite a suprise because I did very, very little work.

Congrats to all who've landed places. It's a blast. Remember to get drunk and shag lots of women (or guys if that's your bag).

I've been at Manchester Uni for 2 weeks now. I'm home for the weekend just now, and have 30 mins boredom time, so I checked here :)

It's better than I expected. Unbelievable. Just wait til you get there :D

Well, i've spent about 8 years at uni... And i really enjoyed the ride but you'll notice that the excitement degrades with the years... And in some circumstances even turns into annoyances. (But hey, i guess you're not supposed to stay so many years :p)

These days i enjoy looking back to the good old days at university... But on the other hand i'm quite happy those days are in the past and i can capitalize on the investments made in those days ;))

8 years 8O

Wow...thats impressive...and alot of dedication...hear I thought you were like early 20's...but I guess I was wrong :P

I wish I could back in time...I'd totally hit up university...I'd love to study computer science, aeronautical engineering, physics or mathematics...or all of them if possible.

I think a PhD in one of those would be really cool...what are you taking if you don't mind me asking?

I'm doing Internet Computing, but the first year is common throughout all ICT courses. So at the end of this year I might change to one with a year industrial experience, or change to Interactive Systems Design.

All the lectures so far have been about stuff I already know, apart from HCI, they taught us about motion parallax and stuff 8O

Got my first assignment in Computer Systems, it's just about number bases, mainly binary and hex, done all that before, yawn...
