Owned.
I guess it would have been easier for him just to refund the money.
But if all the bank information was there why didn't that guy that bought the PC go to example paypal and make an account with his bank settings and take out lots of money?

Oh well.

ebay and paypal both have insurance policies to prevent this.. don't they? :?

I'm pretty sure they do, but there insurance only goes so far and requires quite a bit of work on the part of the reporting party. Of course, it is still a lot more interesting the way this dude has done it.

What gets me is...

Doesn't eBay have some sort of fraud/protection policy, where they will take care of things like this for you???

I *believe* it can be a bit hit or miss - I'm guessing the guy'll make his money back though 'specially if the media pick it up.

OMG just read that whole thing, I think it's gotten to a bit of scale never imagined - pretty damn funny :). I'm a bit disappointed at the nature of some of the comments left though :roll:
