I use tsWebEditor. Being the noob at php that i am. it gives me the option of testing my sytax(cuz god knows i make a ton of errors :D ) and running the scripts to save me the trouble of uploading then checking. bit hard to find anymore though. but thats my opinion. ive yet to try the othe programs mentioned above, but im sure they are top quality.

Like when i'm using MS FP for HTML i can see the prview but i couldnt find anything related to PHP which provide this community! :8O:
PHP is a server-side application, HTML a page description language for the client side... so you'll need a webserver (localhost!!) with properly installed PHP to test & debug. I prefer Apache (it runs on both my Sun Ultra 5 and the Windows machine).

How about a PHP Editor that works with SFTP / SSH2?

CuteFTP Pro was the first one to last year (that I found anyway) but even tho they've gone from ver 1 to ver 3 in such a short time, it still only colors perl and HTML and really screws up the PHP coloring. And it doesn't allow you to add your own.

Thx

I prefer Far+colorer lib
the best console file manager with alot of plugins.
Mine current Far package:
Far 1.70b4
different codepages support and autodetect, XLAT functions, etc.
colorer lib - php, html, asp, js, c/cpp/c#, pascal/delphi, etc - more than 80 shemes - syntax highlighting plugin. XML+regexp
Search&Replace plugin - great tool with full regexp support
and some other plugins.

http://www.rarlabs.com - Far downloads
http://plugring.farmanager.com/cgi-bin/ ... i?Lang=Eng - plugins
