Listening to MP3's on my computer...
I just randomized to Danger Zone - Kenny Logins...Top Gun fame...
Oh man...I love that song...
I was such a pilot nutt as kid...I always wanted to be a fighter pilot, especially after watching Top Gun...I still heavily regret not trying harder, but alas...it's not entirely my fault.
My love of flying likely has alot to do with enjoying this song...
Anyone here a huge fan of dance and really enjoy Footloose or something???
Am I a big looser in the sense...whenever I hear Danger Zone...I always wanna go super fast??? Zip down the highway at 140 KM/h...???
Maybe someone is a huge fan of Lost Boys, Sisters of Mercy (Don't cry little sister?)...when you hear that song...you wish you were a vampire???
Cheers

Yea they do it for me too...
But I was leaning more towards vintage music that is otherwise considered "lame" by avid music fans today...
Kenny Loggins...is a joke in most music circles now...but that song still grabs me by the yicheese's and pulls *real* hard...
I lvoe that tune...makes me regret not pursuing a career in aviation everytime I hear it
Cheers

I'm a huge fan of classic music. I enjoy when my mom turns on the oldies. Overall though I'm mostly a fan of the 80's rock/pop era. Good stuff. I would say my favorite artist of the era would be Michael Jackson. Although that would get me laughed at by most people... I don't care. I love the stuff. Nothing like getting pumped up to 'smooth criminal'.

I been listening to a lot of Motion City Soundtrack at work, seems to do the trick. Just the right pace to not be distracting, but has the parts I love that give my mind a rest when I have to sing along or do a little dance or whatever... My personal preference tends to be towards harder music, but it's too damn distracting to work to most of the time and prolly raises blood pressure and stress levels and what have you. Prolly explains my driving...

I've always enjoy MJ too...although as a person I've lost all respect for the guy...
One minute he's saving starving children...then he's molesting them
unreliable people scare me
Thriller...has always been a goodie and alwasy will be

I'm getting myself ready for a Slayer concert in about a month's time...
Talk about distracting is right...

Ahhh...I did like Slayer back in the day...when their CD Diablous in Americana or whatever...when it came out...I bought the CD...enjoyed it...and later in life realized that music I really don't have a liking for...
Death metal looses it's grip as I age...the music doesn't speak to me the same...
Plus i'm not as angry as I was in my younger days of 18 or 19...
That music...makes me wanna kill people
Just kidding...but seriously...it brings out the neanderthal in everyone...

I consider myself a music aficionado...I like all genres of music...some more than others...I'm primarily punk/metal and really into Canadian indie bands...
But I love all kinds of music depends on how I feel...sometimes I feel sophisticated...so I listen to classical music...or when I'm really angry as I find it calms me down...
Leaving greensleeves is a favourite...although most "official" music history buffs would likely call it English Folk music and not classical...I say classical because it's like 500 years old...in which case...it's a classic
When I work out...definetely punk/metal gets me right jacked...or Danger Zone
I went to some 50 DJ spin off last night with a friend...that music doesn't really do it for me...but I should maybe give it more time...
Country/blues grass...I love that stuff too...
Country...is such a refined musical genres...those guys are usually really talented...mutliple instruments, etc...vocal abilities as well...
Punk/Metal...I find is very raw and full of anger and edge...very little refinery goes into that music...
As for the debate on pop music...like all music...it's music...so I enjoy some of it...
It's lyrical content that kills music...I can't relate to loving a girl so much...I'd have to love another girl, to realize how much I love the first girl...
It's like rap/hip hop...unless it's hardcore gangster...I can't relate...as I'm no player...I got no game or fancy car...although I am far from gangsta' I can relate to ghetto life style...and starting from scratch...but I got no guns...
It's bout' takin' care of bidniz...you knowhat i'm sayin'
Yup...I enjoy all kinds of music...even pop...not Brittnay Spores...she's fake and all image and no talent...but Christina Auguelirra (sp) she can sing...and has talent...kinda slutty lookin' but thats smart business on her part...
All music is good...you just need to filter out the poop...
Cheers

Most everyone I know says that...
I enjoy it...minus the sappy stuff...Some country just damn cool though...
Never been into Mr. Cash? Waylen Jennings? Willie Nelson? The highwaymen?
Kenny Rogers? The Gambler?
My musical collection includes everything...I even have Avril Lavegne on my computer
Cheers

Pretty much anything by AC/DC, Led Zep, the Who
As for a single song from the old days, I've always been a huge fan of The Knack's 'My Sharona', always have to crank that up.
Yeah, I'm old.
