Hey, I'm the webmaster of a new website called PHP Shift. You can see it at
http://phpshift.fireproductions.co.uk. Right now, I'm just starting it, so I need some PHP scripts to add to it. If you have any scripts that I can use on my site, you can submit it to me along with any copyright/contact information you want me to include with it here:
http://phpshift.fireproductions.co.uk/submit.html
Once the website has at least 100 scripts, I will launch it and post here when it's done. It will include a wide variety of free scripts that anyone can use on their site. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yet another PHP resource
Interesting from an advertising perspective...but what makes your site different from every other resource...many of which have 1,000's of scripts..???
Why would I upload scripts to your site, outside of the fact that every little bit helps???
Cheers

HotScripts, ResourceIndex, DMOZ and Yahoo all beat you to it by a few years

I hate to be sour but, I personally dislike very much sites that benefit from user contributions through ads (remind you of someone else?

).. if you were seriously looking to give back to the community I would recommend removing the ads (at minimum keep them uninstrusive), and you'll likely get contributors taking you more seriously.

No harm in doing what's already been done, but make it better...
Like the old saying goes:
"The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse always gets the cheese"
Sometimes improvements are better than innovation...
Personally I like being last to the plate...in everything I do in life...from these predecessor's I can learn what works and what doesn't...and hopefully return a much higher quality product or service...
Granted something things in life...timing is everything...but this isn't one of those situations...
I'd just like to know what makes it different...what are his goals, etc...
Is it just a personal respoitory with a few add on's from other members...does he hope to be bought out by EarthWeb...
What what what...

I have never heard that saying, but I like it a lot... consider it stolen.
