There is a lot of praise for O'Reilly's on this site. Would you guys recommend O'Reilly's in general, or just for javascript?
The only O'Reilly's book I ever read was a regular expressions book. I learned regex in a day. I thought the book was pretty good. The Ninja Space Goat wrote:There is a lot of praise for O'Reilly's on this site. Would you guys recommend O'Reilly's in general, or just for javascript?
I find their books to be generally higher in quality than the normal computer book, so I would recommend them in general. I did run across one I didn't like particularly, but I cannot recall for the life of me which one. I've owned about 6 so far, so thats a heck of a good track record. The Ninja Space Goat wrote:There is a lot of praise for O'Reilly's on this site.
