Perhaps the skills to be a good programmer are different from the skills to be a good businessperson?

Drastically...night and day...

I can't think of two different opposing type of people...

Hence the reason I have struggled so much over the years in attempt to start being my own boss...and the reason I understand why most programmers aren't businessmen :P

It's a very difficult transition to make...especially concurrently :)

I live in a total bum city as far as tech is concerned...

There are zero tech jobs here...as far as programming anyways...

Especially those of which I would accept...

Meeting hot chicks would be nice...but the only place I did work at consisted of 4 guys in their 20's...who never bathed...and nothing but program and play war craft...except me...cuz I don't play war craft :P
