Reading the wiki, it sounds kinda dumb. Okay, really dumb. But that's because it has no description of what the website is, or will be.

Although, its description is fairly...erm... weird.

And I'm with everah on the YTMDYEJKD whatever :-D

Using the time zone that the server is located in the timer counts down to 6/30/06 at 11pm (23:00) That's the 72nd anniversary to the Night of Long Knives when Hitler ordered the SS to murder all of his political competition, and 11pm sounds like it's right in the middle of it because it actually lasted untill the next morning.

Ok. Alot of you have been wondering how the map works and what it is. Here is your answer.

It is correct that the map display's from where the site has been accessed via IP. I have used proxies from all around the globe and i can prove to you that this is the case.

Secondly the map itself is a simple .gif. Not a flash or a editable picture so how do the dots appear? Well the asnwer is quite simple. There is a .gif for a red dot stored on the server. Now in html if you want to put an image somewhere you have to specify its coordinates. Just like a graph.

Well the makers of the site made software that automatically puts dots on the map. The software knows where major countries and cities are located. And it knows the page coordinates for that location on the map.

So what happens. When you connect to the server the server uses your IP and stores it (i think) and encrypts it so other people could not read it. Then it looks up your IP and checks what location you are in. It Estimates your location to the nearest major city and it already knows the coordinates on the map for it. So it knows you are logged in from africa so it places a dote over the map where the coordinates for your city are. And this way to DOT.Gif overlaps the MAP.Gif.
I agree with this.

I can't decide.

It would make a bit of sense though.

More research!

EDIT: I just read in numerous places that it is a fake.

I also have something to contribute, I suppose. I forget where I've read it in my research of here, but someone said the password was 5 characters long, I think. Then it struck me, the dog. The dog's name is Oscar. Perhaps that's the password.
