For those who remember...

Post by jason »

...me, you might remember my girlfriend, Piera.

She is no longer my girlfriend. She is, however, my fiance. I never posted here, my time away was long, yes, but considering my desire to start making a more consistant appearance here again, I felt I should update you with regards to important events.

So yeah, I'm getting married next year. September 28 of 2005 was the date I asked her the question, and June 16, 2007 is the day of reckoning.

Here is her ring: http://www.piera.ca/pics/piera_ring.jpg

Anyways, just wanted to say hi to all the old faces, and hello to all the new ones. :D

Dude, congrats. Charles256 just announced his engagement as well (and I think Roja posted on his blog about an affirmative response to his popping the question). As I tell everyone, it is going to be great.

PS | As is the case with Charles256, let me know if you guys are registered anywhere. My wife absolutely loves shopping for weddings and baby showers. Dohh, did I say baby shower?

If I may ask... Why did you leave? I understand that you are one of the PHPDN founders, why would one leave such a big and great community?

Personaly reasons. And I didn't just leave the immediate forum community, but the programming community at large for quite some time. There was never any fear with regard to leaving these forums. They were in good hands, and in truth, even before I left, others had taken over. In the end, I'm just a guy that provided the domain name and the hosting.
