help : very simple content management required

Hi
I built a site a while back for a friend and have been maintaining it for him but would like to find a way for him to maintain a couple of pages himself: reviews, biog information. This would ideally be online, and be restricted to only a few pages of the site. I have looked at a number of PHP based content management systems but these seem to be way more complex than is needed.
Does anyone have any suggestions for an off-the-shelf solution so I can allow him access to a couple of pages and for him to be able to add and change content and perhaps upload an image or two.
many thanks
