I used dreamweaver for years, but I would never touch the 'design' tab on it. The output it spews it ugly. I've seen situations where there are something like 100 style tags in the inline css [you'd have to have seen dreamweaver html to understand what I'm saying]. Plain and simple, ugly.

*However* The coding portion of dreamweaver is great. I left it only because I wanted a PHP-specific IDE [Zend], i do miss the css auto-complete though. Also, dreamweaver has a lot of overhead.

I have no opinion pro or con about using WYSIWYG editors. I don't happen to like them, but that doesn't mean that anyone else should or shouldn't. My best friend uses Front Page. Best friend ever - we've been like brothers for years and my wife assisted with the birth of both of their children. Am I going to give him a hard time about how he creates web pages? No.

When I posted that I don't use them, that was non-editorial, informational only.
