Printer Problems

Printer Problems

I realize this is so out of our area of expertise but I need to get aTandy DMP 2102 printer working on windows xp..so far no luck..can't find the drivers..ideas?please? :-D

yeah but it's what the client i susing...i don't think he's going to be happy that i want him to spend several hundred dollar for newer comparable printers...

I'd recommend driverguide.com, but they don't have a driver for that printer for ANY OS, let alone XP.

I'd seriously doubt your going to get it to work. I couldn't find any drivers for it, let alone for XP. Tell your client that some things just aren't possible (heck, tell him/her that ink costs are much cheaper on the newer printers & if he gets a decent one, it'll pay for itself in a year or two.)
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.

yeah.think I'm going totell him to suck it up..the old program he was using was written in a version of qbasic I can't even find anymore...damn thing is ancient..has to be twenty years old...
