php, mysql and arcview

Post by nij756 »

I am developing a system that updates a database. I also have arcgis maps that the database is linked to. We do not have a server of our own to host the database(mysql) and system. The maps are located on our drives. My question... is there a way to connect to a database somewhere out on the web under arcgis.

I am a GIS tech myself, although I don't understand what you are trying to do. Could you explain a bit better please?

By the way, Arcview is kind of old software, have you considered upgrading to ArcGIS or MapInfo?
