Are there any other WoW players on the forums? What servers do you play on? What parts of the game do you love/hate?
Just curious.

It really is. The depth of the game is really quite staggering.. You can easily play for thousands of hours and not experience even most of the content in the game. I'm easily above several thousand hours and haven't yet hit an endgame instance. (I'm totally not the norm in that regard).Everah wrote:That sounds like a complete subculture.
I very much enjoy gaming. Notice that I'm trying to get my lady into the game, so its still family time spent together. (She sits next to me at the same desk, and we talk as we play). Unfortunately, as you imply, it is a binary choice for the most part.. spending time on the computer means NOT spending time with the family. Thats why I'm trying to cheat the system, and get her interested.Everah wrote:I have never been into gaming. I play solitaire every now and again, but in reality, with a family the size of mine, if I am not working I am spending time with them.
Scorched Earth was fantastic. I've always got at least 2-3 games I play "now and then", but for the last two months or so, I've barely been playing anything.. too much going on.Everah wrote:Come to think of it, the last non-card game I played on a computer was Scorched Earth in 1994. I tried Castle Wolfenstein around the same time, but my 486 DX33 with 4 MB of RAM and a 120MB hard drive kept crashing on Level 2. Figured it wasn't meant to be.
