Anybody else notice that this forum is considerably quieter at weekends?

I guess it nice to know we're all real people with real lives :)

(Note to self: Get off butt and do something while the weather's good!)

I imagine most people post queries when they're coding, and they don't code at weekends because they're not sad, lonely geeks with no social life whatsoever.

Like me. :(

I went to a shooting competition. Finished 41st out of 51 ppl :(
It was my first time though, gonna be better next time I hope :)

However I do code all the time (not only work days) since I'm just a student and php is my hobby, not work.
I was also surprised that I couldn't see the long list of new topics as usually :D

I'm on the West Coast of the US and I even notice that the board quiets down around 6pm PST (GMT +8 ). I guess the Brits are back from the pub, make a few drunken posts, and then around 2AM start coding. ;)

I try to avoid posting on the board when I'm drunk and/or intoxicated. Though it has happened on occasion :P

And embarassing

Well I'm drinking lager right now whilst learning Spanish from Audio CDs.... I have to say, considering I've never spoken a word of spanish except ola, adios and gracias this guy I a GOD.

I'm on lesson two of eight and I haven't just been repeating phrases like the crappy ones do.... I've been tought how the language "works" right from the outset so I can, 99% of the time predict what the correct way to say something would be before ever hearing it. It kinda helps that a vast proportion of the vocab is just like english but with different endings/sounds :) Ok I'm rambling now :P

It's very much the same for me. Although up until about 2 months ago, I was still very into gaming so I'd still play games on the weekend. Now I've even lost interest in that. :(

I was hoping my *nix installation would respark my computer interest, but such was not the case. I need a good *fun* project to work on.

I think the best way to respark your interest with your computer is to purchase new software. Whenever adobe releases something new or SEO software, etc... that always gets me refreshed and happy. I'm one of those guys that has to know everything on my computer is the latest version and up to date. I don't know why it is... but I'm pretty obsessed with software and having the latest stuff. Never really got into games. I played counter-strike a long time ago and sucked. Sucked at starcraft and sucked at sim city. I just kinda hang out on the weekends with my buddy marion.

My House mates are at Glade Festival which I'm supposed to be right now too if I hadn't sold my damn ticket! Grrr....

A couple of my other more outgoing mates are at EXIT Festival in Serbia and Montenegro so I'm pretty bored this weekend. I did go out yesterday night though :)
