Here in Holland it's also quite warm, a heat wave again. Like 34-36 degrees celcius the last few days. Lucky to work from home in my shorts and lots of cool drinks. I did go running this afternoon though. Normally I don't run so fast. So when it's really hot, at least I have the feeling I did some good exercise ... :)

But for the Netherlands it's quite warm. They stopped a 4-day walking event here (in which people walk 40 - 50 km a day for 4 days in a row, thousands participate) after the first day after 2 people died and 5 had to be reanimated....

102F at 4:30PM in Fremont on Monday. 98F same time yesterday. Today I believe it was in the high 80s. But I heard that it is supposed to heat up this weekend. Something about a nation-wide heat wave or something. Alls I know is it sucks.

just got off the phone with my daughter I did (visiting grandparents in Utah she is). Complaining of the heat they are (102-104). Asked her if hot it was, immediately responded 'no' she did.

very amusing to me that is.....

I was on holiday in Faliraki (Rhodes) until today, I missed all this :( I was told today was supposedly going to be the hottest day in Britain... ever.

Nah... Hottest "July" since 1911. Although we seem to have beaten 1911 today and got 1 degree hotter (37C) but still, the hottest Britain day *ever* on record is 38.5C, and that was in 2003 (Just not in July).

It has been hot though, and we've got at least another week of warm weather, just slightly more comfortable (25-27C).

Found out today that our temps here were 10 degrees F cooler than two days ago (102 down to 92). Althought the weather dude says that we are in for some hot weather again this weekend.
