I found it simply stunning and left without dispointment.
I would definitely see it again.

seen it twice already and plan on a handful of further viewings. i was particularly impressed with the animation of Gollum, it blew my mind the way he interacted with the real life characters.
the story line was also fantastic. i love jumping between multiple plots and keeping track of them all.
don't ask me to compare this one to the the first. i consider them to be one movie. so this one picked right back up and ran the distance.

I just got back from The Two Towers, and it was great! I loved every minute of it.
But, be prepared for a long sitting.

saw it for the third time yesterday and it just keeps getting better.
for those who like to pick out slip-ups: in the scene where Gandalf calls Shadowfax, you can see tire marks on the hill behind Shadowfax going off to the left.

Saw it, and loved it. Especially the tree-people; amazing. Had trouble focusing on the movie cause of the girl I was with though.

Why were there Elves at Helms Deep?
I mean it made for an excellent battle scene, but it's so off track from the book.

There is a reason for this, Gollum was played by an RL actor wearing a sensor suit and the character's d graphics were overlayed to make it look more realistic. They did an excellent job with it though!

yeah, i knew they did that but still, they way they blended Gollum into the shoot is still fantastic.
