I think I'm going to go up to Barnes today and drop some bills on books. I'm just looking for some reccomendations on things I should, and shouldn't buy.

Basically what I'm looking for..

Decent JavaScript Reference Manual - searching the net is a pain
PHP Code flow techniques - (design patterns?)
Maybe a CSS book..
Anything else I should get..

Advanced PHP Programming (recommended above) is excellent. I would also recommend my book: php|architect's Guide to PHP Design Patterns

Harry Fuecks wrote a detailed review here

Anything published by Oreilly is good. I have a bunch at work but not here at home in front of me.

Advanced PHP Programming that you've already cited.

I've mentioned it before, but I can recommend many of O'Reilly's books as well.
