Book recoomendation for AJAX

I know, I know, probably already been discussed, but I looked and did not find. :(

I know jack about client-side aside from some CSS and xhtml. I can do very tiny things with JavaScript and I'm looking for an AJAX book that will help me figure all this <span style='color:blue' title='I&#39;m naughty, are you naughty?'>smurf</span> out.

recoomend away!

Prototype is a javascript framework that contains a class on ajax. It is a good starting point to see what Ajax can do.
