What radio stations(s) do you listen to online?

Post by Chris Corbyn »

You heard :)

I listen to Triple J. It's an australian radio station and they play all kinds of really cool stuff as well as introduce a lot of unheard of stuff. Gets pretty funny in the mornings too while it's night over there... people phone in.

Sometimes ya really just need to turn off your MP3's/CD's and listen to people actually talking between tracks. Heh... I guess we have radio 4 in the UK if you like talking :)

I haven't found any quality ones that offer the range of music I tend to listen to, nor the availability that my connection requires -- it's not very tolerant of lag when streaming.

Soma.fm: Groove Salad Ambient Chillout. Great late night programming music
Soma.fm: Beat Blender Chillout with a beat. Great early evening programming music
Digitally Imported: Trance Hi speed (what I imagine to be) European dance music. Great afternoon programming music
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.

http://www.power97.com/index_master.aspx

The morning show is the best...the big man Hal Anderson was voted Canada's 34th Greatest Canadian of all time last year...

Totally shocked the country this guy had so many loyal fans...he beat out alot of other VIP type people...

I think it was intended as a joke and just perpetuated into something real... :P

He's actually a really good guy, does alot of charity, etc and he's funny as hell in the morning - can't say the same for his less than hetero couterpart though

I listen to this station on the time...

Oh god, di.fm I forgot about that trance stuff :P

My work colleague listens to something called "Weird Titan Radio" all day. Aaarggg.... even just think about it makes me cring. It's a trance station.... you know that incredibly cheesey trance you get? And the DJ put's on this really irritating voice and butts in to the music to go "woohoo!" or "I'm weird!"... no smurf
