That's right mods, all caps! : whimpers when teh first mod comes by and mods the topic subject: Either way, moving on. First things first, it looks like I'll have my first full time programming job in PHP making over 40k a year. If that doesn't seem like a lot google cost of living in Troy, AL and then remember I'm only 20 without a degree. (heh. In troy I can get a two story house with like 5 bed rooms and three baths for a 100k..Insane) Moving on.. I've also taken two C++ courses at my university, with the second class being called Advanced c++ and they never taught me recursion..I just stumbled upon an article on it and I kicked myself for never thinking of it before...very logical it is... Either way..Ijust thought I'd give good news adn sad news in the same breath.

There are some nasty caveats to recursion: mostly involving stack overflow and possible exponential memory consumption. PHP handles recursion pretty well (being that it does limit how deep you can go.) But I still don't recommend it when easily avoided.

Way to go Charles. That hefty salary should be enough to take care of the soon to be new wife, eh? Good job bro. I am very happy for you.

Haha. If you think that 40k isn't alot:

It was the only computer job I could find and I have been looking for other opportunities since I have had this job but there really is nothing.

Well, if its any consolation to you, when I was your age I got a job making about the same. It took a while (about 8 years) but I am now quite a bit more than that. Still no degree. Keep it up guys. We are taking over the world, one job at a time.
