[56K Warn] Firefox being a resource hog

I used to have the same problem before, but one of the latest updates fixed it. From then on, my FF never takes more than 60MB.

Heh - I had it up to 252MB yesterday.

I've heard the source of the problem is the fact that FF keeps a history of all the pages you've visited in RAM. So regardless of your current tab state, all (or a big chunk of them) of the pages you've viewed in the current browser session are still stored in RAM.
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.

That sounds about right, I was listening to Pandora about a week ago and firefox was up to 440mb ram. It must have been saving all the mp3's in ram :?

I just updated to 1.5.?!?!? Whatever the most recent release is (updated yesterday) so we'll see.
