Bittorrent using xml? or some other format?

Post by Todd_Z »

I am looking for a source that I can query with an artist or album [ of course for legal purposes] and have it return a url for the torrent with that album.

Has anyone seen a service like this, and does this service have a big enough database to include non-mainstream music?

Further down the road in this project... Anyone have any good solutions for a CLI bit torrent client. I'm pondering of forking php to download the files, then respond to them once they are downloaded - untarring them, etc.

Thanks folks
