Gee, now you don't have to pay to run software that slows down your computer needlessly. ;)

I notice in the URL is has tryaolfree. I bet it has a time limit on the free usage but that would be the normal setup AOL anyway. They used to give 1099 hours free so you could try AOL.

Apparently they are giving some more things for free. You can have an account and not pay anything but there may still be services you will have to pay for.

Yep, they are still going to charge dialups if the dialups need a connection.
While customers with broadband no longer will have to pay AOL anything, AOL will still offer dial-up accounts at $26 a month for unlimited use. To compete with cheaper dial-up services from companies like United Online Inc., AOL is creating a new $10 monthly plan with unlimited access but fewer features than the $26 plan.
But heck, there was never any real reason for broadband users to buy AOL. I always got a chuckle out of their ads trying to sell AOL to broadband people who already had a connection. Even with it being free there is no real reason to signup and install their bloat code if you have broadband. Unless you just like having advertisements thrown at you all the time. :D

or if you are an old lady and it's what you've used since you started using the internet, so you have had your hand held and don't know there is any other option.

I think they were offering the Internet connection as well. I would guess that cost's would be lower since it's only free for people who already have Internet access.

LOL Nice picture..
