windows 2000

Post by phice »

Just upgraded to it from Windows 98, and I absolutely love it. As powerful as winxp, but as simple as win98.

aaaaa... Heaven. It's the greatest thing Microsoft has made since MSPaint+Notepad. ;] Well, then again, Office XP is a dream, as well.

We have had great success with Win2k where I work. I hate saying that as I am a *nix guy at heart.

As I another *nix guy, I say don't beat yourself up. What works works and what works for you works for you! I do give MS credit for the things that they've gotten right simply becuase it's true. That list includes Office and many of the IDE's. Good stuff!

But not enough to get me to go back.

Cheers,
