Picking the farthest region

Skipped Australia. I think the tester was actually walking there to determine the speed.

27mbps? Who is your ISP? How much do you pay?

I am at work right, behind a proxy. We pay a lot, but I think we are either T1 or ISDN (or something fast). I will run the test at home and see what comes up tomorrow.

T1 = 1.5Mbps up and down.
ISDN = 128Kbps up and down.

Since you're in the hot zone, you're likely real close to a T3 mega-pipe. T3 = 45Mbps, fiberoptic.

Sorry about that, I had it crooked. I do know out connection is fast. The problem is that all the wired users in the company (about 600 or so) share 1 proxy server to get out. The one benefit for me right now is I am on night shift (last week and this week) so I am not seeing the massive slowdown that happens during the day here.

There is something wrong with them because I ping less than 10 on most CS servers in Seattle from here.

Also, ping better from Australia than London? London is twice as close!!!!!!
