eh... not that much of a movie/tv person. Most of it bores me. Very few actors/actresses are at all believable to me. I like to watch The Daily show & The Colbert Report, but I rarely even do that.

Dude, I can repeat the three originals word for word and action for action (in some cases sound for sound). I am a Star Wars movie geek (original). But I do think every generation needs something to be able to hang on. And lets face it, 1977 to 1983 happened a long time before a lot of the posters on this forum were even born. So I'm sure they will come up with something...

i'm ok with it. i don't think Lucas can tell a story and even the first 3 were lame but the overall idea is magnificent. i know i'm going to get angry people for this (i get it in real life) but that's because i'm not in love with those movies. i can see it from a differnt angle

the first 3 were the best tho

Definitely the first 3 were the best. The last three stank of poor acting. I despised the actor that played anakin. I actually fell a sleep while watching him act....UGH!

I grew up with the originals, stood in line for the first day showing of each of the first 3, the last three I waited for the DVD releases. SO yes I'm an original starwars nerd, but had a real hard time liking the last three... although the effects were great... Kudos to the effects team ;)

he did stink it up pretty bad didnt he....but he was the only bad actor and the only thing i didnt like about the last 3 flicks....i think the last movie rocked overall...a great ending...that final fight was everything i hoped it be....i just have one problem with it all....yoda saying he failed...its like cmon he could have ripped the emporer a new one if he really wanted to...especially that part when the emporer is using all of his force strength to kill yoda...yoda acts like he cant take it and suddenly he gives the look like,"is this all you've got wimp?" and boom they both go flying

You'll have to hate me to. I really don't care in either direction about them.. or Star Trek for that matter. (People are always wanting to pool me into either camp.) I enjoy both. Hell, I have several friends that work at ILM and Lucasfilm.

i have the original Marvel Starwars comic 1977 vintage in mint....if you can get me a george lucas autograph on it id give you 35 percent....mind you this comic was only printed 1300 times...that means only 1299 other pple already have it...so for 15 percent we'd both come off pretty good :)

I will not under any circumstances whore out my friends to get some guy's, no matter how "famous," autograph. I was kind of neat to see him and his son at the movies on weekends though, just being people, like everyone else.
