Cannot access devnet

Ok, I have tracked this problem down to my router. Linksys says it needs to be replaced. My router is blocking access to devnet. It\\\'s the only site being blocked. Why in the world would it do that? There are no filters in place.

Maybe you visit it too much and it thinks you're a virus/worm checking a control site.

do you have a wireless linksys? If so, try using this opensource linux based firmware:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/index.php
I was having issues with wireless using stock firmware (intermittant connections) and this fixed it right up. Adds a lot more features too. Read up carefully on how to flash, got any questions just ask. Its for linksys router models WRt54G

I already flashed it. It\'s wired. It\'s the BEFSX42 Version 2

oh. well if you have an old computer laying around and a few extra nics you could build a cheap router running freebsd (or linux... or whatever really)

Do you have an IP blacklist or MAC filter (or some other filter) going on?

No, that is what makes this bizarre. The router crashed again today, and after power cycling it about 10 times I finally was able to get it to reconnect the DSL modem, and now I can access devnetwork.net again.

I have found that on my wireless at home I have intermittent problems connecting to DevNetwork. Only site which I have problems with from home. Had no problems from work so far. Haven't had time to try and trace the problem as of yet.

You posted on devnet about not being able to connect to devnet
But seriously...
Does it simply time out?

Astions has had this problem for a long time. I know it sounds wierd, but this is not the first we have heard of the problem.
PS He could have posted this thread from a computer that was not on his network, you know

Have you contacted your ISP about it?
