FF Refresh Page Source

Post by hawleyjr »

So you may or may not have known this but up to about 30 seconds ago I had no idea you could do this....

In Fire Fox, view the source of a page (Right Click -> View Source)

Modify the page.

Refresh the view source that is already open. (F5)

The source is updated to the modification you just made.

Pretty damn cool in my book Image

I found that out by accident about six months ago. It is pretty freaking neat. I haven't tried it in Opera 9 yet. But that is one neat little feature.

I'll second that... I always used to end up with about a dozen 'view-source' windows open due to quick alterations (you should see my fingers fly thru the 'alt-f-s, alt-tab, f5, ctrl-shift-u' combo :P ) to scripts and pages...
