CHRIST!

don't you hate it when you are trying to code something and you know what you're trying to get and yet you can't do it? thusly taking you much longer than intended?

yeah, so do i

*repeat to self*

Isn't it the challenge of problem solving that we all love? If there was no challenge I certainly wouldn't be interested...I challenge myself daily by learning new things...I could die if what I know stayed static and I just kept developing the same old boring thing. I get enough of that at work. Mundane tasks kill me :P

So I would have to argue...the opposite...I enjoy those moments of frustration :P

Cheers :)

nah i got it done. it's just that i hate it when i'm stuck and i can't get it done correct and quickly when ti's someting that i know. and that i've done before. so that sucks

i was trying to get query string params in pairs. so i wanted it's param and it's value. and for some reason i just could not get it. i have it now but my god!

If it makes you feel any better: i just spend one day (valuable since tomorrow is release day) trying to figure out how to circumvent issues with columncomboboxes for custom objects in a datagrid... Just when i more or less figured it out, i found out that a grid doesn't take more than 655 columns and i need to add 720 columns ;)

Hmmmmmm...well if it's something trivial like a syntax error which you typically would know but because you haven't done it in a while, your sort of lost, then yes...those moments are annoying when you require a refresher course. :P

This is a big part of my wanting to find a new job. I love a challenge, I love learning and I want to work with a team who feed each other with ideas and inspire one another. Do these places actually exist? :P :)

Yes, but they are often difficult to find.

Yup. I am in one. Any developer would love to be where I am right (unless, of course, you have no idea what the other geeks in the department are talking about :? )

Despite the occasional frustrations i enjoy every day... I'm almost always surprised that the day/week has gone by without me even noticing it... Guess i'm turning into a workaholic :P

I choose to become part of %insert company name% because of a couple of interesting collegues.. And untill today that choice has been a good one :) Too bad one of those interesting guys is moving to microsoft road 1 next month...

Thats one reason I like small freelance jobs and haven't bothered to find full time work...inflexible hours...same boring projects...no selection...

Freelancing of course has it's serious annoyances of course...eventually I'll find a decent blend of both :P
