phpMyAdmin is hosted (like many other nice things) at http://www.sourceforge.net / http://www.sf.net
http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpmyadmin/

Hi Volka,

I was advised to install MyPhpAdmin, I wonder how is it different to phpMyAdmin?

I searched the sites you mentioned I wasn't able to find MyPhpAdmin only phpMyAdmin.

Thanks again.

Found (using Google) MyPHPAdmin here: http://wmf.dyndns.org/

Haven't ever used it (always used phpMyAdmin) so can't comment on how they differ.

Yes, and if you notice their download page says they are no longer supporting the software. I would stick with phpMyAdmin. It is supported, well documented and everyone and their brother uses it. So finding someone to help you if you have any problems will be alot easier.

I've used PHPmyAdmin a fair bit... the installation is a pain in the neck, easiet done with ftp - copy the files in the same way they appear in the zip file into a directory on the target webserver.

The configuration file is pretty straight forward. Note that you don't have to enter the conifiguration details three times: it's just there so you can manage multiple databases without separate installations of the software.

I dont know if you guys already know about this one.

Its call easyphp. It has phpmyadmin, mysql, php, and apache all rolled into one. Very easy installation. I already mentioned it in another post here.

anyway it is free and the web site is http://www.easyphp.org

Kinda hard understanding the French but a very cool program.
