Why should we? Is there something special, magic?

I don't get it, what's the point of this thread?

I love to pick through others work. There's always something new I find out. This forum has seen may questions on MVC and OOP and who knows what else and this particular project offers all that without being a too much to follow IMO.

My post was not directly intended for you feyd so you (feyd) don't need to feel an obligation to read or respond since I don't see a point to your (feyd) response anyway therefore I'll leave it at that.

That's all I wanted to know.

I realize it wasn't intended for myself alone. I'm not stupid. The question wasn't for my sole benefit. We like having some description to go along with random links people post so at least one can understand what to expect if one chooses to follow said link.

Thats BS. I don't think anyone needs to write a "detailed" description of what the link ( in this instance ) is about. In case you missed it it says clearly 'Very nice OS PHP5 app'. I believe that was sufficient for one to draw an oppinion to proceede with visiting the link or not.

Sorry, "very nice OS PHP5 app" means very little.

^^^ Although the link for me personally says enough...I don't need a detailed description...

I can usually teel if it's spam of sorts, etc immedtaley by looking at the URL and what not...

Besides when I click n the link and it starts throwing popups and such I'm gone...

Basically, personally...the link was enough, no point in duplicating whats already said...

That being said however, some minor detail would be alright...

Personally OS = Operating System whereas OSS = Open Source Software...so I admit I was slightly confused at first by what you meant by OS...I assumed you where pointing at the fact it was OS agnostic, but later figured you meant Open Source

So, some description would be alright, but iMHO it's not mandatory...a link is usually enough :)

Cheers :)

Nice OO code but it doesn't look very shared server friendly. Whoops ... was that on topic?

Hockey giving posting tips ... I nearly fell off my chair.

So, the thing about it it's nice and we may appreciate the beauty of the code in general? Sorry, I'm not an artist and need another nique selling point for downloading and/or installing arbitrary software.
But even if it's about (abstract) beauty I second the request for a short description.

I think it is important to understand that the moderaters here see many spam posts, even some with dangerous links. If you want to communicate a link specifically to another member then PM is available for that. If want to post a link to something that you think is useful or a good example -- we encourage that. We simply ask that you supply a few sentences describing why you posted the link and what you think other members should look for. And remember that members of all levels read your posts so a little extra explaination is a courtesy. Thanks for the interesting link.
