Domain search

Post by kaszu »

Hi everyone,
Is it possible to find all domains owned by 1 person (by nameservers, ip, contact details or any other)?
I couldn't find anything like that and i guess it's not possible, but just in case i'm asking you.
Thanks in advance

It is partially possible using a combination of web search, dns magic, ipwhois + if possible some blackhat techniques which are AFAIK not appropriate for this forum. Can you name your target and the reason for your interest?

I was looking for a way to do this a while back to find which domain names I own... because occasionally I buy domain names for pretty much no reason and at any given moment I usually own 2-3 domains that I've forgotten about.

I'm interested ONLY in legal ways to find that info. Mostly i'm interested IF it's possible, not how.
My boss was asking me, but i wasn't sure about it.
Thanks for your replys

There are some services available to do this. I think they cost money though.

You might find this site useful, it appears in my access logs from time to time. Allows you to do reverse ip search after signing up for a free account.
