thoughts about myspace
It's been probably said already (thousands of times), but I can't believe how such a crappy site could be that "huge success". What are you thoughts about that phenomenon ?
(I think that it is more a sociological issue than a technological one)

Set Search Time - A google chrome extension. When you search only results from the past year (or set time period) are displayed. Helps tremendously when using new technologies to avoid outdated results.

Wow, I am glad we didn't keep that I'm with so and so, I would have to write 10 - 15 names...jk. I think that it is a complete waste of bandwidth, personally. I think that also is a huge security issue, as well. Now that I have a little girl, I don't ever want some 40 year old perv talking to her like she is Christina down the street. All I know, is I am tired of the http://www.myspace.com crap. Does anyone know a good hacker?

No solicitation of hacking here, not even jokingly. Sorry.

Neither do I. It just "works". What I was trying to understand is how can be possible that a site which apparently "violates" every single rule of site design, could become such a success. Almost no profile fit on the screen, people add hundreds of videos and flash slideshows, the color combination makes reading almost impossible...a94060 wrote:i personlly use myspace and havent had any problems with it so far,so im ok with it.
Maybe the anarchy is the key to success... I'm not that silly to know that if the owners of the site wanted, they could hire 10 programmer to put the things in the correct place.
