Hey,
Any avid kayakers in the house here? I LOVE kayaking and I would live on a river (with a laptop and WiFi) if I could.
Where do you go and what style are you (sea, lake, white-water)?
Any kayakers?

abosofriggin'lutely!
I love to paddle. I used to paddle quite a bit about 8-9 years ago (every day in California on the American as a 'film-runner'). Now I dont' make it out as often as I'd like to but still get out a few times a year...typically on multi-day trips like the MF of the Salmon.
I used to be pretty hard-core (paddled some pretty big stuff in my day (North Fork of the Payette (all 17), Cherry Creek of the Tuolumne, all sections of the South Yuba, Upper Gauley, Upper deadwood)) to name a few.
here's a short vid of us on the North Fork of the Payette (only the lower 5 though) when it was raging at 4500 cfs. I'm in the red boat in the front.
